Registered Care Home Manager

Location: Worthing, West Sussex (BN11)

Base Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per year (Negotiable for the right person)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a boutique, small-scale residential home in Worthing. This position offers a unique "Monday to Friday" schedule and the opportunity to join a growing, family-owned Sussex care group with five local care home sites. (running alongside an exceptionally successful supported living arm) You will receive full support from a dedicated regional leadership team and benefit from a culture that values work-life balance and professional autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • CQC Compliance: Act as the Registered Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and driving quality toward "Outstanding" status.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a committed care team in an intimate, person-centred environment.
  • Operational Management: Collaborate with group directors to implement technology-led process improvements.
  • Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with residents, families, and local healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record as a Registered Manager with a history of successful CQC inspections.
  • Education: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, MCA, and DoLS.
  • Values: A leadership style that embodies Kindness, Calmness, and Responsibility.
  • Right to Work: Applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK (No sponsorship available).
  • DBS clearance
