Base Salary: £53,000 – £55,000 per annum

Pivotal People is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded residential care provider and medium-sized care group for one of their homes in Maidstone, Kent.
They are looking for an experienced and values-driven Registered Care Home Manager to lead their home and team.
The home is a medium-sized residential care home set in a countryside location on the outskirts of Maidstone, specialising in the care of residents living with dementia and Alzheimer's.
It is a well-established service with a committed team, and the group are looking for the right Registered Manager to take it forward.
 
About the Registered Care Home Manager Role
As Registered Care Home Manager, you will take full operational responsibility for the home, leading your team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
 
Day-to-day, you will:
  • Provide confident, visible leadership to the care team
  • Ensure full CQC compliance and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and governance frameworks
  • Manage staffing, recruitment, and professional development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external partners
  • Drive continuous improvement and sustain high standards of care quality
Skills and Experience Required for this Registered Manager Position
  • Proven experience as a Registered Care Home Manager or senior leader within adult social care, ideally with a demonstrable track record of successfully turning around underperforming services
  • Experience working with residents living with dementia and Alzheimer's, with a good understanding of specialist dementia care practice
  • Sound working knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • A stable career history that reflects genuine commitment and longevity in leadership roles
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred, high-quality care
