Schedule: Monday to Friday (with flexibility for events), 37.5 hours per week

 

About the Role

We're partnering with a small, high-end care home group to recruit a dedicated Client Relationship Manager. This pivotal, field-based role is focused on fostering strong relationships within the local community, with families, and with key professionals. While your primary goal is to guide clients and build trust, you will also be responsible for driving sales, marketing, and networking efforts to grow our private-pay occupancy.

You'll serve as the face of the group, creating brand awareness and ensuring each home is on the radar of key stakeholders. This role is ideal for a proactive and outgoing individual who thrives on engaging with people and converting relationships into results.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all client relationship and engagement activities, acting as the main point of contact for new enquiries.
  • Create and produce effective marketing materials (e.g., brochures, flyers, digital content) to support local outreach efforts.
  • Actively build and nurture a professional network by organizing and attending local community events, professional forums, and networking groups.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from initial enquiry through to move-in, ensuring a consistent and seamless client journey.
  • Implement and support local sales and marketing strategies to raise brand awareness and drive lead generation.
  • Collaborate with home managers to develop and execute local marketing plans tailored to each home's needs.
  • Monitor client relationship data and identify trends to continuously improve the client experience and conversion rates.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Required: At least 3 years of experience in care home client engagement or relationship management, with a strong background in sales and marketing.
  • Required: A proven track record in nurturing client relationships that result in growing private-pay occupancy.
  • Essential: A confident and professional communicator with a natural ability for networking and building professional relationships.
  • Essential: Experience in producing marketing materials and executing successful local marketing and community outreach campaigns.
  • Required: Full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel across East and West Sussex.
