About the Role

Complex Care & Paediatric Nurse Clinical Lead - Berkshire & Hertfordshire

Pivotal People is proud to be representing a leading provider in the complex care sector to find an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for both complex and paediatric care. We're looking for a dedicated Clinical Lead to join our client's team in the Berkshire and Hertfordshire area. (However, location isn't vital as long as you don't mind travelling to the packages of care to oversee) leading and developing complex care packages for clients.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Community Nurse Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for the clinical oversight and management of complex packages of care. Your role will involve:

  • Mobilising and implementing new care packages, ensuring a seamless start for clients and families.
  • Communicating effectively with local authorities (LA), Integrated Care Boards (ICB), and client families to ensure a collaborative and high-quality approach to care.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of service delivery in line with CQC and NMC guidelines.
  • Providing expert clinical advice and guidance to clients, families, and care assistants.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of all clinical records and data.
  • Proactively managing client expectations and creating solutions.
  • Playing a key role in the continuous development of the company's services.

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a confident and highly organised nurse with strong clinical skills and management experience.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of post-registration nursing experience.
  • Experience with vents and tracheostomies is essential.
  • Proven experience in ITU, HDU, CCU, or Community Complex Care.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Dual registration for Adults & Paediatric care.
  • Management experience or qualification.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and risk management abilities.
