About the Role

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Home Manager to join our long-established small group of homes based in and around the West Sussex area. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential care homes, ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operation of the care home, including staff management, resident care, and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and implement care plans and ensure they are followed by the care team
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of staff
  • Maintain effective communication with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and manage the home's budget and resources

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Home Manager in a residential care setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent understanding of care regulations and standards
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care management

Day-to-day

The day-to-day responsibilities will include managing staff, overseeing resident care, liaising with external stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth operation of the care home.
