Are you an HR professional who enjoys variety and being close to the people you support? We’re looking for an HR Advisor to join a values-driven care provider, supporting care homes across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

This role is about more than policies and processes — it’s about people. You’ll be a visible, approachable presence in the homes, helping new colleagues settle in, guiding managers through HR issues, and making sure staff feel connected, valued, and supported throughout their journey.

What you’ll be doing
  • Supporting managers with recruitment, shortlisting and interviews
  • Coordinating onboarding and induction, ensuring compliance and training are on track
  • Advising on HR policies, employee relations and performance management
  • Managing absence processes, including return-to-work meetings and wellbeing support
  • Carrying out check-ins with staff to support engagement and retention
  • Partnering with managers on people projects that improve staff experience
What we’re looking for
  • Experience in HR (HR Advisor / HR Officer or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and absence management
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident handling sensitive conversations with fairness and empathy
  • Flexibility to travel between sites (within ~45 minutes of Ollerton, Newark)
  • Desirable: CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
  • Desirable: experience in care, healthcare or another regulated sector
Why join?

This care provider is truly people-first. They know that the wellbeing of residents depends on their team — so they invest in their staff, celebrate great work, and create a culture where people feel proud to belong.

Alongside a base salary of £28,000 to £34,000 and quarterly bonus (OTE of £35,000), you’ll also enjoy:

  • 28 days’ holiday including Bank Holidays
  • Quarterly bonus scheme (up to 10% of salary)
  • Pension contributions
  • Funded training and CIPD qualifications
  • Employee wellbeing and assistance programmes
  • Recognition schemes and rewards for great work
  • Supportive, values-led working environment
