About the Role

Lead a respected nursing and dementia care home in Worthing, with the support of a strong senior team and the freedom to shape outstanding resident care.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with proven management experience to take on the role of Nursing Home Registered Manager in Worthing, West Sussex.

This well-established home provides specialist nursing and dementia care for older people, with a warm, homely environment and a strong reputation for putting residents at the heart of everything it does. The home is part of a respected group with services across the South of England, offering excellent senior management support alongside a committed on-site team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and develop the nursing and care team.

  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and clinical governance standards.

  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing, budgets, and occupancy.

  • Maintain oversight of care planning, assessments, and safe admission practices.

  • Promote high-quality dementia and nursing care tailored to individual needs.

  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.

  • Drive continuous improvement and uphold a positive, supportive culture.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with active NMC PIN – essential.

  • Previous management experience in a nursing home.

  • Proven ability to achieve strong CQC outcomes.

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards).

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
