Nursing Home Registered Manager – Worthing, West Sussex
Salary: £47,000 – £50,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Typically Monday–Friday with participation in an on-call rota
About the Role
Lead a respected nursing and dementia care home in Worthing, with the support of a strong senior team and the freedom to shape outstanding resident care.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with proven management experience to take on the role of Nursing Home Registered Manager in Worthing, West Sussex.
This well-established home provides specialist nursing and dementia care for older people, with a warm, homely environment and a strong reputation for putting residents at the heart of everything it does. The home is part of a respected group with services across the South of England, offering excellent senior management support alongside a committed on-site team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, inspire, and develop the nursing and care team.

Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and clinical governance standards.

Oversee daily operations, including staffing, budgets, and occupancy.

Maintain oversight of care planning, assessments, and safe admission practices.

Promote high-quality dementia and nursing care tailored to individual needs.

Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.

Drive continuous improvement and uphold a positive, supportive culture.
Requirements

Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with active NMC PIN – essential.

Previous management experience in a nursing home.

Proven ability to achieve strong CQC outcomes.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards).

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
