Job Title: Registered Manager – Care Home
Location: Isle of Man, UK
Salary: to £45,000+ (negotiable, depending on experience) 
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week)

Relocation: Relocation assistance may also be available for the right candidate if relocating to the mainland UK or Northern Ireland.

A genuinely fantastic opportunity has come up with our client in the Isle of Man, for a skilled and compassionate Registered Manager to lead an established residential care home on the Isle of Man. This is an opportunity for either a current resident to step into a well-respected hone and put their own stamp on the home -  Or for a relocator to experience the amazing Island and what it has to offer. This medium sized home could create the stepping stone for a fantastic new life for an experienced manager and all the perks that come with being an Islander!

Key Responsibilities of this Registered Manager post:

  • Leadership & Management: Inspire, lead and develop a dedicated care team.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the home meets all Isle of Man Government and CQC- equivalent standards.
  • Care Delivery: Champion high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Care Planning: Oversee and update individualised care plans with input from families and professionals.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and contribute to the home’s financial sustainability.
  • Safeguarding & Health & Safety: Promote a culture of safety and transparency.
  • Culture & Environment: Build a warm, inclusive and positive environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with families, professionals, and local partners.
  • Operational Management: Run the home efficiently, ensuring quality and compliance at all times.

Qualifications & Experience required for this Residential Home Registered Manager vacancy:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager in a care or nursing home
  • Confident with care regulations, safeguarding and quality standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable managing budgets and leading a service
