Base Salary💷 Up to £32,000 + bonus (OTE £35,000)

Are you an HR professional who enjoys variety and being close to the people you support? We’re looking for an HR Advisor to join a values-driven care provider, supporting care homes across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

This role is about more than policies and processes — it’s about people. You’ll be a visible, approachable presence in the homes, helping new colleagues settle in, guiding managers through HR issues, and making sure staff feel connected, valued, and supported throughout their journey.

What you’ll be doing
  • Supporting managers with recruitment, shortlisting and interviews
  • Coordinating onboarding and induction, ensuring compliance and training are on track
  • Advising on HR policies, employee relations and performance management
  • Managing absence processes, including return-to-work meetings and wellbeing support
  • Carrying out check-ins with staff to support engagement and retention
  • Partnering with managers on people projects that improve staff experience
What we’re looking for
  • Experience in HR (HR Advisor / HR Officer or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and absence management
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident handling sensitive conversations with fairness and empathy
  • Flexibility to travel between sites (within ~45 minutes of Ollerton, Newark)
  • Desirable: CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
  • Desirable: experience in care, healthcare or another regulated sector
